    Hi

ISRO conducts separated written exam for recruiting the candidates. For applying jobs in ISRO ,candidate should have 65% in the graduation.ISRO recruits B.E/B.tech candidates every year for different posts like Scientist/engineers

    Selection process for ISRO is

    1)Written test
    2)Interview

-> Presently there is no notification is released ,for latest notifications you can check in the employment newspapers.

-> If you not get good score in GATE exam, then you can also write GATE exam after completion of your b.tech .BHEL also conducts a separate exams somerecruitingr recruting the candidates for which you can apply.

Dear Friend, Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) will select without GATE Score as well. They are conducting their own written test. Generally written test will be conducted in the month of April. Eligibility criteria is your age should be between 18-35 years and you should be B.E/B.TECH WITH 65% MARKS.For details of ISRO Centres/Units, please visit http://www.isro.gov.in/isro_centres.htm

    Hello Friend,

    Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO):
According to today's situation all the government sector companies are asking GATE score to hire job in the company.
With out the GATE score it is very difficult to get job in ISRO company, not only ISRO but also all the public sector companies are asking GATE score of minimum 75%.
They are giving importance to GATE weightage.
75% of Gate Score and 25% of academic score.

But Gate is not the written test for ISRO.
ISRO will conduct its own written test.
Those who are having 75% of Gate score can attend these written test.

    Then after a personal interview.
So, dear friend you better to concentrate on GATE exam.
If you are already have compleated your graduation then also you can write the GATE exam.
    Thank you
    All the Best

Re: Any other entrance exam except GATE to get placed in ISRO?

    hi,
    dear friend,
except GATE exam ISRO also takes candidates through it's own all india level exam , for which the minimum eligibility criteria is:-
    1. the candidate must have graduation degree with minimum of 65% aggregate scoring marks .
    2. the candidate age must not be more than 35 yrs.

so, if any candidate fullfill the above eligibility criteria then he/she can be eligible to sit for the exam.

the selection procedure for this exam is :-
    1. writtern exam
    2. interview.

the candidates who got selected in writtern exam go for the interview and after interview a final merit list will made and the selected candidates are informed for their trainings...

so, all the best, give your 100% the success is your's..
