Re: Am i eligible for TCS or not with 63% marks in B.Tech?

Actually the eligibility for TCS selection is to hold a percentage of 60% in state board, inter and also in the graduate degree. But, your state board percentage is 59%. So, truly speaking you are not eligible to attend the TCS interview. Anyhow you can prepare yourself for the interview and make an attempt. It all depends upon the recruiter.

    Best wishes :-)

Hello friend, the eligibility criteria for TCS is a minimum of 60% during the academic years of X, XII and in B.E(B.tech). Since you have only 59% in your X standard, you are not eligible to attend the interview. However there are many companies which seeks a minimum of 50% in X and XII standard. So you have many opportunities in many other companies.keep going.

Re: Am i eligible for TCS or not with 63% marks in B.Tech?

TCS has set the below eligibilty criteria for all candidates who want to apply for the Jobs there:

    >>Min 60% marks in class 10th, 12th, BE/BTECH, Graduation or Post Graduation.

    >>All the degrees obtained should be from regular colleges and no correspondence and distance learning course is allowed.

    >>There should not be any GAP of more than 24 months in study or whole career.

    >>Candidates should be of minimum 18 years old.

    >>The marks scored in all exams should be in First attempt Only.

    >>There should be no backlogs

Since you have scored less than 60% marks in your class 10th, You will not be eligible to sit in the TCS interview.

But still there are lot many IT and software companies.
You just need to apply to them for the Jobs.
Also make sure that your technical and professional knowledge is very good.

    Hello

    Yes,
you are undoubtedly eligible for the TCS placements with 63% in B.Tech .

In the same way you should have 60 % in your 10 th and 12th standard also , even if you dont have 60 % in your 10 th standard exemptions may be there

if it comes for CAMPUS DRIVE .

    * and you may have history of arrears but you should not have any arrears by the end of your Degree.

Here is the procedure for placements conducting by TCS-

    i) first they will ask you to register yourself in TCS onlineportal , there you need to provide your resume and personal details.

ii) after that they will check whether you have 60 % in all your acaemics or not. If not they wont allow you to for placements.

iii) Next they wll conduct written test for all those who are eligible it includes general aptitude and technical questions related to your subject.

iv) if you qualify the written test then you are eligible to technical interview.

    v) next will be HR interview -it test yor communication skills and strength.

    All the best....
