YES of course you are eligible to ait in the TCS interview with the marks that you have stated
Also TCS wants that you should have apssed all your exams in first attempt only
Also there should not be any gap more than 24 months during your career

So go ahead and apply to TCS
Plus you also apply to other IT companies like Infosys, WIPRO,IGATE, ibm ETC
Apply to all companies where you meet the eligibilty and join wherver you get job
JUST DONT SIT IDLE AT HOME

    Hi,

Yes you can sit in TCS. TCS verifies if you have 1st class career or not(more than 60%).
The aggregate percentage is checked. So it doesnot matter if you have secured less than 60% in a semester.
    prepare well and answer well.

    Cheerz!!!

Re: Am i eligible for TCS with 67% aggregate marks in B.Tech but less than 60% marks in one semester?

    Hii..
TCS require 60% throughout in academic career(10th,12th,B.tech and PG). So you are eligible to sit in placement exam of TCS.

Your aggregate percentage is 67% in B.tech so it doesn't make any difference that you haven't got 60% in a single semester.

TCS doesn't allow more than 2 years of GAP in your academics.

You can sit only once in TCS placement exam.

There are mainly three rounds in TCS placement exam.

1.Written Test:Mainly aptitude, reasoning,GK and general English is asked.

2.Technical Interview:In technical interview a group of member ask technical questions from candidates.

3.HR Round:This is also a face to face interview, taken by company's HR manager. Here questions are about salary expectations, future plan, career growth etc..

But there are other MNC for which you can try. Some of are:

    1.Headstrong
    2.Accenture
    3.iGate
    4.Cognizent
    5.Wipro
    6.Infosys
    7.Tech Mahindra
    8.CSC
    9.IBM
    10.R Systems
    11.Hungama
    12.HCL technologies
    13.Aon Hewitt

You are absolutely eligible for TCS with your marks. Not only TCS but for most of the other top IT firms.Any company will check aggregate marks as eligibility. They are not bothered about your semester wise marks. There may be some questions regarding that in interview if you clear the written round. But not for eligibility. You should not have any pending backlogs or more than 1 year gap in education other than the marks criteria. You can apply and you must apply soon for your job.All the best.

Its not a problem. Because, most of the companies will ask only for the aggregate percentage during the education. TCS is one such company which asks for an aggregate of 60% in engineering graduation. But there are also companies which ask for a minimum in every semester, no history of back paper etc.

    * Not more than two year gap between your academics
    * Minimum of 60% marks in 10th standard.
    * Minimum of 60% marks in 12th standard.
    * Minimum of 60% marks in graduation.

These are the basic qualification criteria of almost all the top level software companies. In your case, it won't be a big problem as your aggregate is near to 70%. But the selection will be based on your performance during the recruitment.

As you have comparatively less marks, prepare yourself to perform better in both aptitude test and in the interview. Make sure that you have some certificates to prove your extra curricular activities during your engineering graduation studies. Focus on your communication skills.

You should have some certification or extra curricular activities to show in front of the interview board in order to increase your chances. They expect for some extra potential in candidates who have less academic percentage.

These students are expected to be a part of extra curricular activities during the college life. Some certificates in some organizing events will definitely improve your chance.

Re: Am i eligible for TCS with 67% aggregate marks in B.Tech but less than 60% marks in one semester?

see, the TCS company is one of the highly ranked IT sector company , which recruit B.Tech candidates with 60% and above in over all B.Tech and academics.

so it doesn't matter that you have scored less that 60% marks in one semester , your overall aggregate(average of all semesters) is considered at the time of placent.

so you are eligible for palcement in TCS.

I have uploaded few TCS palcemet papers for your help.
    practice them well.

    good luck

    • Considering your academic performance you are definately eligible for the jobs in the tata consultancy services (TCS).
    • Tcs Considers the aggregate percentage in the graduation, not on the basis of your percentage in the semester.
    • You must have higher than 60% in the 10th , 12th and the graduation.
    • There must not be any kind of backlog which is standing at the time of interview.
    • A gap of more than two years in the studies makes you illeligible for the studies.
    • You must possess the good technical knowledge.
    • You must have good communication skills.

    hi
yes you are eligible for theTCS recruitment because they want an aggregate score of 60%.
If you do not have 60% in some semester then it does not cause a problem, you just need to be having 60% in aggregate and that too with 60% in class 12th and 10 th also
