    Hi Harshit,

    Having MCA after BSc

First of all, you have furnished the required details. These information are required to guide you through your core opportunities. You have good academics right from your tenth standard except your BSc degree. Its true that most of the companies ask for a consistent performance of 60% in the academics. This criteria is more relevant for companies recruiting from the campuses.

    Campus recruitment drives

    >> Not more than two year gap between your academics
    >> Minimum of 60% marks in 10th standard.
    >> Minimum of 60% marks in 12th standard.
    >> Minimum of 60% marks in graduation.

These are the standard criteria put forward by the companies. So, its difficult to get on to companies during the on campus placement drive. In normal case, they won't allow any consideration in the criteria.

Though they have vacancy, companies give much importance to the selection process so that they get the best employees.

    Your Chances for a Job

But don't worry. You have your chances. Having less than 60% just in your graduation doesn't show that your are not a good professional. Your post graduation degree academics itself shows your ability. So, the best option for you is to go for off campus drives.

Companies often call for walk in interviews for freshers.
But don't expect to have top level companies. You can start your career from a small company ad then move on. Mostly, these opportunities will come only after usual placement season. So be patient and prepare for your chance.

    All the Best

    Hai

Your Graduation percentage(B.Sc) is effecting your career.
Most of the top companies asks 60% throughout of the academics. In that your not eligible

But some of top companies consider your current graduation percentage like
    Wipro
    Accenture

    Wipro eligibility criteria:-

    1)Should have 50% in 10,10+2
2)Should have 60% in current graduation
    3)Should not any backlogs

    Accenture eligibility criteria:-

1)Should have 60% in current graduation
    2)Should not have any backlogs.

So don't worry. You can apply for top companies above.

Yes, you are eligible to attend for the walkis in I.T companies

Actually , The candidates who are attending for the Interviews on the Basis of the Graduation Qualification should have 60% Minimum in Graduation

But , For the MCA candidates , there is no need to have 60% or more in Graduation . But , to attend for the wallkins in MNC Companies , the candidates should have secured 60% minimum in MCA

So, with 60% in MCA , you can attend for the Walkins in MNC Companies

As a fresher , You should have Basic Knowledge in your Technical course . That is Enough .
The Interviewer will see whether you have Good communication skills , A minimum Knoweldge in Your Technical Course .

You should also have Good Knowledge in Aptitude , Reasoning Topic Questions

Some of the I.T Companies are ,

    IBM
    HCL
    Polaris
    Yahoo
    Accenture
    TCS
    Cognizant , etc..

    Hello,

If you have minimum 60% in your BE.
Then there is no problem to get a job in IT Industry as there are many companies which ask only for the
    qualifying degree percentage.
So only your MCA percentage will be considered.
You can register yourself on some of the job portals like, naukri.com,etc.
You can also attend some of the Job fares, walk-ins,etc.

Apply for the companies on their career section.
You can also apply for the govt jobs like:
    SSC CGL
    Railways
Banks- PO, Specialist Officer, IT Officer, etc.
    UPSC, etc.

    Good Luck.
