Am I eligible to attend campus with one backlog in 8th semester?

i have one backlog in project in 8th sem. But i have 70% in 10th, 12th and 65% in graduation. I am fearing like whether i will get a job in MNC companies in on campus?

No you are not eligible to apply any MNC companies as you are having backlog in 8th semester.
But you can apply for other IT companies which accept backlog.But these companies also gives you a specific duration in which you have to clear your backlog.

I will suggest you to wait for next semester i.e for 4 month and give your backlog with full force and after you apply for MNC companies.

if u convince ur placement officer then there is a chance that he will shorlist u for the company......... its better u clear tat back log as soooon as possible........ but onething u should have percentage requirement for the particular company.. u can cover ur back log and attend for interview and if u get job u have to clear the back log before joining......... so contact ur placement officer

yes of course you are eligible for the campusing. but it is only possible only in college walk-in or pool campusing,you are not eligible for off-campus recruitment until you recover your supplementary paper.. and after you pass the paper you entire result will be exchanged with the new one and only the date of issue will change slightly. i think it will not give u much trouble. so dont fear. just try hard and clear the paper..and definitely you can apple for MNC companies..but for that you have to ensure the followings:
1. aggregate marks should not be less than 60%
2.you should be sound in health
3.you should be fluent in specially English and other relevant languages
4. you should have to crack the entrance exam them you will be short listed for the interview

if you have cleared that backlog then definitely you can sit in the recruitment process strengthening more f your practical knowledge and other many qualities in all dimensions but if you havent cleared then this seems not possible, sorry!

No untill and unless you clear your backlog and have the provisional degree with you you can not appear or get a job in any company.

You might take a chance to check if they can give you some time to produce the final certificate citing some of your personal problems etc. however it depends upon the HR leniency.

ideally the answer is NO.... but if your placement coordinator can do talk to the company representative then something can be done... but 99.99% it is NO. you have to be all clear along with minimum 60% marks through out the academics...

and for some companies it is only 60% in B.Tech.... so better would be concentrate on your studies, clear your backlog, and try in companies off campus.... approach to maximum companies and placement agencies..

You have to clear the backlog before appearing.Candidates with current backlog can not appear in off campus placements.As you have completed B.Tech,you can not appear until you clear the paper..You may not be eligible in top MNCs but there are several other companies which recruits candidates with backlog,but they specify a time in which you have to clear the supplementary.....

If you come under the JNTU affiliated colleges then no need to worry because you can opt for any 2 subjects termination at the end because it will consider only 216 credits for the total 224 credits in your consolidated marks memo(final)... And there are numerous firms which accept a person with 1 or 2 arrears also, but having said that its good to clear it and have a clean chit record for a long and successful career in all the firms(having clean chit extends your eligibility criteria)...

becoz they hv the basic limitatn is no bcklogs

but u can appear in directly to the companies when u cler ur bcklogs

and start ur career in small compaies is very much help u.

No friend you can't attend the campus interview with one backlog.But some companies will recruit you but you have to clear the exam before joining date.Now a days all companies are asking the graduates those who not have single backlog in the span of 4 years.So,it is difficult to get placed placements with one backlog.Try to finish with in 4 years you degree you can search jobs after coming out.

To attend any campus you should 1st clear all your backlogs and then sit for an interview or you
can sit for an interview for just an experience.

yes you attend the campus placement cell,but you can't apply the mnc company if you have a score card of gate exam then you have attend the mnc company cell and you must have jack also.but you can't work in mnc untill you claer your backlog,.

Most of the top MNCs do not let candidates with current backlog to appear in their recruitment drive.You can try in small companies or mid level firms.Another option you have is that to wait for the next winter programme and clear your backlog and then you will get a new marksheet from the college or university.Then you can apply in the off campus drive of the top MNCs as you have the minimum marks required to be eligible in those companies.All the best..

It totally depend on the company that they allow you or not. Because not all companies allow to sit with current back log but some allow you to sit with backlog. Also it depend on the collage in. Because same company has different criteria of recruitment in different collage. You may also request your TPO for that if you request them they may listen to you and may provide you a chance to sit into company.
Other wise you have to wait till you clear your back log.
so whenever a company comes to your collage for recruitment then take complete information about the criteria of that company from TPO office. Also you may request your TPO for any chance to sit into that company.

Yes you are eligible if you can clear the backlog paper.You have a good percentage in Graduation but as you have a backlog it's difficult for you to get a job in MNC company.
But you can apply for other IT companies.After clearing your Backlog you can apply in many companies.

You would not be eligible to attend the Campus Placements if you have any backlog in 8th semester since the eligibilty criteria for hiring is the completion of graduation at the time of Campus.
You could always consult your placement coordinator for such problem who could negotiate with the companies in campus placements.

I am last year MCA student. I have got placement in IBM. But unfortunately i have got KT in ! subject. I have already applied for the revaluation. But it takes time forresults of revaluation or re-exam. So in that case what will happen? Will i get the offer or the offer will terminate? MNCs wait for the re-examination results? Currently I am in 6th sem..and tentative Date of joining is august?

**as you are having good percentage in your 10th , 12th and in graduation , you are eliglible for the mnc company campus placements also

but , rememeber , the intrviewer may ask about your backlog in 8th semister .

so, you should have a perfect answer why you are having that backlog

one more important point is , if you get a job in campus placememtns itslef , then you must clear your backlog or complate your backlog before getting in to the job

But if not...then you can attend....if you selected you can't get the joining until you clear your backlogs......

Sorry to say that you are not applicable in Campus placement because they are indicate the eligibility criteri like-

TCS eligibility criteria-

1)You must have 60% marks in through out career.

2)Pending Backlog candidate are not applicable .

3)Maximimum 2 years gap are allowed.

So every company have the same criteria.

So you have first completed your pending backlog then you have attend in off-campus placement.

But you have a option that you can join any certification course like Java or Oracle Etc.

You are not eligible to attend campus for MNC companies,Most the MNC have criteria through first class no education gaps, no backlogs etc but you can apply in small skill industries for job...

You can attend for the campus interview with a backlog in your 8th semester

As your aggregate is good in your graduation, your backlog was not a big problem

But you have to complete your backlog in the next attempt

So that you can join into the job intime

Otherwise it will creat problem for your job

While attending the campus you should have the following skills

1.Good communication skills
2.Programming skills like JAVA,C,C++,SQL,SAP.....etc
3.Good confidence level

Well to be frank and open you have no chances of getting a chance of attending placements conducted by MNC's as they won't allow students who have backlogs in their 8th semester. But in the following cases exception can made if you come under the following categories.

--> The placement you're going to attend whether it is on campus or off campus, if on campus you have chances.
--> The college you have graduated from in case of on campus placement as companies give exception of 1-2 backlogs when they go for placements in top reputed colleges.
--> The placement officer can help you by communicating with the officials of the company and treating you as a special case considering your academic record and various interpersonal skills, etc.
--> The main point the MNC which is going to come to your college for placements depending upon the no of posts they are recruiting they will decide to consider your case or not.

If we go assume normally the chances for you to get a job in MNC is impossible but depending on your luck and destiny technically you still have a very good chance of attending on campus placement and securing a job.

No my friend you are not eligible for the on campus recruitment process .
Because most of the MNC requires no back log in entire graduation , if one have the back log then before joining the company they should solve it .
You have the back log in your 8th semester so that you will not eligible for on campus recruitment .
So first of all you solve your back log and then apply for the job through offline because otherwise you have no option .
So solve it first .

It really depends on you college placement cell whether they will allow you to appear for on-campus placement drives or not. Most of the software companies require that the candidates should not have any standing backlogs and you will not be eligible for those companies until you clear the supplementary.

You can get a job after your backlog so wait for some time and then go for the job.

You can get a job after you clear all the backlogs only because any MNC companies don't take students with backlogs.
