After AMIE its better to go for M.Tech. It will help u to makeup your carrier in a better way.
M.Tech is a 2 year course. For you need to give GATE and have a good percentile or score to get into a renown institute.....
You can even go for MS in Foreign countries by scoring good in GRE....

    HI,
After completion of AMIE you can go for M.Tech.

Through this GATE rank you can apply for the government jobs .Recently some of the companies are recruiting candidates through the GATE exam. The qualified students in GATE then can directly attened to the interview.
    BHEL
    NTPC
These companies are recruiting through the GATE rank.
