As you have 70%, you have cleared the qualification criteria for most of the public and private sector companies in the country. You can built your career in your core filed itself.
You can start applying for the core mechanical jobs once you complete your education and make sure you maintain your academic percentage. Either you can start with some private sector company and after gaining enough experience, you can try for public sector companies. Or you can do for your Master's degree and then you can join for jobs.
